District Assembly 2017 Membership
It’ can be a difficult time of year for Clubs, shoring up their membership for the end of year. I’m pleased to report our worldwide membership is 1,237,928 as of 30 April 2017 (This represents growth of 30,022 above the 1 July start figure).
Our District has had a positive result up to the end of April, a net D9820 increase of 34, an increase of almost 3%!
Clubs should be aware that Rotary is measuring membership figures slightly differently this year. Beginning immediately with the 2016-17 Rotary year, new members added on or before 30 June will count toward the current Rotary year, while members added with 1 July effective dates will count toward the new Rotary year. (previously new members reported 1st July were not included in the previous year)
