Mike McFarlane, past president of The Rotary Club of Kew and an Assistant Governor will be the guest speaker at a special partners' night being organised by the Rotary Club of Yarram.
Wendy Pope, President of Yarram Rotary Club, is inviting Rotarians and their partners from all clubs in the Central Gippsland Cluster to the night which will be held at the Yarram Country Club.PP Mike is well known for his love of aeroplanes and flight and is the President and Australian chair of the International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians. The goal of IFFR is to achieve a better understanding of Aviation among non-flying Rotarians and others, through appropriate Rotary Club programs, planned flying events known as Fly-Ins and flying activities.
Angel Flight Australia is a charity which coordinates non-emergency flights to assist country people to access specialist medical treatment that would otherwise be unavailable to them because of vast distance and high travel costs.
The meeting will be held at 6:00 for 6:30 on September 20.
